Graduated in Communication Design. He acquired his PhD on the topic of Poetic as innovation in Design. He currently teaches Project in Design at Aveiro, has his own Atelier; and was awarded multiple Design Awards in the area of Communication, Product and Environment. His professional activity has been mostly dedicated to the construction of local identities.

Designer and researcher, specialised in the use of Design Methods in Human and Social Sciences. Assistant professor at Aveiro University. Involved in the DensityDesign Lab’s research programs and the SPEAP programme (Science Po) where he fosters the use of political design as a trigger for social change.
